Authentic | Alternativ | Anxiety-free

Anja Panse is one of the founder of the theatre collective Triple A which exists since 2021. We have been researching historical contexts in order to draw connections to the present day and develop alternative courses of action. Our work is research-based. Historical topics and stories are staged in relation to current events. We focus on political content with interdisciplinary realisation and also expand our artistic space to include radio plays. Our visual worlds are poetic and full of playful lightness.

We have created a new genre of the performing arts - the HISTOPICAL. It is characterised by historical factual fidelity that relates historical events and personalities to the present in a dramatic-fictional narrative. Through our art, we want to contribute to peace and international understanding and open discourse on social issues.

Depending on the production, we work with professional artists from a wide range of disciplines.

Dante.RELOADED
was the first project to be created under our new name Triple A. The productions Moralinsüß and Clara Z - Fighting where life is as well as Peace Food or The Last Soup can currently be seen on stage.

Before Triple A was founded, there was the independent group Panse / Kastner Productions, which developed the theatre play Rosa - Despite all That (funded by the MWFK Brandenburg) in 2016. The play premiered in Berlin in 2017 and has since had 43 performances in theatres, cultural centres and at festivals (including the Open Ohr Festival Mainz).

In September 2019, the production toured through Brazil in cooperation with the
Rosa-Luxemburg-Stiftung and the Goethe-Institut - see documentation Rosa goes Brazil.

This was followed in 2018 by the second production Child of all Nations based on the novel by Irmgard Keun (TUD Berlin, funded by the Pankow District Office of Berlin).
